    AFAIK:
at what age can a kid be accepting in a playschool?
any age(after a few months in a creche)

under what conditions s the kid accepted?

don't know what you mean, more details?
how much are we talking a week money wise?

    depends on where you are
wat times do they take the kids from -til

    depends on the creche/playschool

Do you mean a play group or parent and toddler group where the child is with a parent ?
Or a pre school situtation where the child is left in for two to three hours a day ?

You'd usually have to be 3 for a preschool afaik.

at what age can a kid be accepting in a playschool?

Depending of the school - some accept them at 2.5 other only at 3

under what conditions s the kid accepted?

Depending of the school but some school will required the child to be potty trained

how much are we talking a week money wise?

Depending again if it is playschool or Montessori - in my aera - Tipperary playschool prices is between EUR 5 to 7.50 for 3.5 hours a day - Montessori is EUR 10.00 for 3.5 hours a days

wat times do they take the kids from -til

Depending of the school again - some starts at 9.30 to 13.00 some 9.00 to 12.30 or 12.00 to 15.30

    Hope it helps

Typically a private creche will run you about 700-900 per child per month, maybe more if the child is "full time" ie every day. They charge more for small babies. A lot of creches will divide into morning and evening - part time kids will have to choose morning or evening, depending on availability, full time kids will be there all day. They'll typically start taking kids in from 8am and pickup time will be 6pm latest.

I run a Montessori school in Dublin. I take children from 2 1/6. price is €230 per month, which would be on the cheap side. Hours are 9-12 mon-fri.
Montessoris/ playschools attached to creches will be a lot more expensive.

    Hey

My sons playschool is €20 a day from 9-12 or €80 for the week 5 days 9-12. I am in east meath.

Have you talked to your public health nurse, I have heard of community based playschools that offer discount child care. It might be an option for you.

    Best of Luck

hi thanks, im in waterford, i tried the community child creche and the girls were lovely but my 1 1/2yr old was in a room wit 4 and 5 yr olds and the creche opened from 9 til 3 the latest where she was then with kids from after school club,so i was told to pick her up at 12.30, which was no good my classes where from 9.15 til 4 and some days half 5, and it was a 30 min walk to creche to college... so i had to put her in more expensive creche that opens 8-6,. thats why if change to preschool il need a minder on top of it.. think im just tryin to make things hard for myself..lol..

My son's playschool is €200 per month for 4 days a week, 0900 to 1145. Its a very laid back playschool rather than Montesorri, you don't have to be out of nappies to go as long as you sign a disclaimer allowing the teachers to change nappies if necessary and its really just for the purupose of learning how to socialise, share toys etc. My son has learning difficulties and I find this set up perfect for him as a more structured environment wouldn't be suitable. I'm in North County Dublin. All the other playschools in our area require kids to be potty trained, run mostly 5 days a week and cost around €285 per month.

Our daughter - now almost 4.5, has been in Montessori for the last year €4k-ish (€350 per month) for Sept-Jun 5 days per week from 9am to 2pm. I'm in Dublin, btw.

I'm not sure of the minimum age, but they will take my younger son in Sept 09 when he will be 2.75 years old. No mention of having to be toilet trained.

Its usually 2 and 10 months that you start playschool, and mostly have to be out of nappies, as the majority of playschools (that I looked at in South Co. Dub) don't have nappy changing facilities.
