Just to let people know that I've been stung again (this time only for 8euro thankfully).

The pm's I've had are all promises that are never fulfilled:

Wondering how much longer I'll have to wait before you sort this out? I'll have to make a complaint here on boards regarding this if you don't have it sorted by Friday.

Any chance of getting my 8euro back? Clearly you dont, nor ever did, have any intention of posting that CD.

10 days later and still no post?

What's going on? Just give paypal me back my 8euro or get the post sorted.

Original thread is here. I'm sure everyone will agree that 2 months to wait for a ****ing CD is taking the piss.

    Buyer beware! Avoid mathie.

I'm of the opinion that posters who behave in this manner should be site banned

This guy has gotten negative feedback in the past. I've seen complaints he never sent DVD's. Judging from this it's not an isolated incident and everyone should know hes not to be dealt with.

goneshootin, get your credit card company to do a chargeback to paypal so you at least get your 8 euro back. I've gotten stung on ebay a few times and all it takes is a letter to my CC company and they sort it out straight away.

We need the vBulliten mod iTrader. Seriously!

It is great, just like ebay feedback ratings, Would really help a lot of people, I have just started to buy of boards.ie and that ould certainly make me feel easier about trading, selling, buying.

Good idea. Still, naming and shaming the person by putting some sort of "Bad Seller" tag on their avatar is genius

That idea of changing the avatar is a very good one, but the idea of a trader feedback feature like iTrader sounds good too.

Id always post money, then you know what address to go to should any problems arise.

As the charter suggests, always swap numbers, full address etc etc.

    Sorry for your troubles anyway

EDIT : What systems/mods are similar to the reputation function which is turned off?

As a general rule, never do this. You have no recourse if the person involved turns out to be a scammer.

And the avatar is a great idea.

yeah won't make that mistake again, still we live and learn. nice work with the avatar though, made me smile!

Irony: the user in question is going for an interview for a bank job :P
