    I don't really know what to do with it. All my dvd's are from other regions really...

    You could have a look at this http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks.php?dvdplayer=sony+DVP-NS29+&hits=50&Search=Search you need to get your hands on a One-for-All remote with a "magic" button on it..... There are other hacks for sony dvd players using a Palm Pilot and some software.... you'll find lots of info if you search on Sony dvd player on that site - I've gone this route in the past with a different brand and it worked just fine, although it was a little bit gnick to set up......:)
