    Lads & Lassies,
I've got a lawn, well sort of, more like rough grass, which has had an incident with a horse . It is now left with lots of deep depressions and some bald spots (neighbour's horse managed to escape and having a little excursion to my back lawn). And it wasn't very level to begin with, either. How can I fix it? Just fill in the holes and put some lawn seed in? Otherwise I can see the lawnmover disappearing in one of them holes

yep, fill it with a mix of rough sand, topsoil and compost sprinkle with some seed (in a month or 2) and water to keep moist.
Dont cut it until it reaches about 2 inches high...
