Hi all, could anyone tell me roughly what it would cost to contract out our blockwork, 5300 blocks approx, all material to be supplied on site by us. How long would a job like this take? Thanks

Blocklayer are charging anything between 90c to 1.20 per block, depending on location and nationality.

Hi Ginger

Your looking at around the €1/block for standard 4' blocks. This seems to be the average cash price around the West of Ireland. If your putting it through the books and want an invoice, you probably looking at €1.20

Our block layer just completed our garage, 1500 blocks in 3.5 days so I'd work on around 400 a day.....
