Biofilter system

    Purchased a house which has a biofilter treatment system model is Biofilter VES1, anyone know much about these systems, I have been quoted €350 for an annual service contract is it worth having somthing like this in place also advised to have it de-sludged every 2 years what does this mean and who does this sort of thing. house is only about a year old as is the biofilter system any help appreciated.

    Maintenance Contracts range from about Eur200 to Eur1000 / yr.

    I would say yours is worth it at 350 seeing as an electrician will charge eur120 for a call out fee, and a plumber could cost near the same
    and this company would do 2 or more call outs within this contract per year and combined would have both trades intoe.....

    Advise get it while its so cheap.

    Who supplied the system?

    Is it large or well confined in the garden?

    How much does it cost to run per year?

    The planning permission usually has a list of conditions, one being that a maninenance contact be put in place before the co co will sign off on......?
