Whistling Kitchen Tap

It's a mixer style tap, and when turned on to hot, the bloody thing makes this loud whistle. It sounds like there could be air trapped, but how do I get it cleared? Cheerio Howard

Monoblock tap, faulty washer. Change both for future reliability.
