Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

From a house clearance I've aquired of some old 1970's 35mm cinema trailer advertisements or old TV advertisments...I'm not too sure.

But I have 2 film cans & a film box:

One can has a full reel of 35mm of an old commercial for "Dohertys Sausages"(1976 as per label on can & a look at the first couple of cells)

The other also has a full reel of "Wrigleys Gum" commercial.(as noted from looking at cells)

The film box has a load of shorter "Wrigleys" films & some Red films (Sound tracks I think, clear film with red borders)

The titles on the box are:

    "Wrigleys Hovercraft -pos+neg 1977"
"Wrigleys Vintage -pos+neg 1977" (seems to be London to Brighton run )

They seem to have been produced by a company called Gunther Wulff Film Services Ltd, Bray Co Wicklow.

I've googled this company to no avail but I'd say they are long out of business, but has anyone ever heard of them?

Also I know this isn't a for sale thread but I was wondering if something like the above would have any value ??

I would really appreciate any info anyone can offer on these dusty relics...

    Thanks

    NFW

Perhaps you could contact the Irish Film Archive, based in the IFI in Temple Bar. They would be able advise you on what you can do with them, how much they are worth etc

Its the fact you have both pos and neg thats interesting. Try contacting wrigleys? They'd be the most interested party I would think.
