There was this girl in her mid20s and she had a piece of denim she had cut into a skirt shape, held together by safety pins, and all the guys were looking at her in the line...and when i asked them what they were peering at, i noticed she had a HUGE hole in the crotch area and you could see straight through to between her legs

i also saw another girl in the pit drunk off her ass with her legs spread wide while she was passed out on her back just before BFMV came on!

Heh, I saw quite a few short skirts too, pity there wasn't many hot girls.

On a side note, did you see some of the kickass costumes people were wearing? I thought I was cool with my bandana and sunglasses, but there were these guys who looked amazing dressed up like glam-rockers, and an old man with a kilt, bandana and the same shoes as Axl - now that's dedication, even if Axl has opted for "cool" clothes this tour.

same here i got some odd looks from people. ****ing brilliant concert, it has ****ed my vocal chords so badly that i have decided to give metallica a skip unless i get a free ticket.

Just back from the concert now had a great time i went expecting nothing and left well happy with what i got and would have gone again if they played tonight first time ive went to a concert in dublin and woken up in Armagh:D

The gig was ok, Axl was very good on vocals and the musicians on show were up to standard. Pity the show itself wasn't the greatest. Too much instrument **** and not enough of a musical performance. It took away whatever energy the concert could have had. Possibly because the band didn't know many of the songs?

Had a great day though, from the time we got on the bus, to the time we were drinking on the green outside Goodbody stockbrokers, to selling tickets for €2, to trying to get into the pit getting in and getting kicked out again. It was a day that was a good one! Unfortunately not because of Guns 'n' Roses.

I'm now off to find a chiropractor after falling off that pyramid...

Axl has said before that its very hard to ask a player to perform a song that he never wrote, asking them night after night to perform music that was written when they were in nappies mostly, and thats why you'll notice he has changed from the original KOHD and LALD setups. All the songs are slightly reworked, with a few exceptions, and I have to say that I enjoyed the Instrumental sections because they showcased the bands ability to play their instruments and in fairness, allowed the new bandmembers a little time to introduce themselves, so that people will stop asking who's in the band now

All in all I enjoyed myself, and think it was a show for their fans, and had no problems with the sound, and knew every words to the new songs and I'm happy wasting my money to go see them twice again in July and then maybe again in the States in the fall and then getting the album around the same time:)

That's what I was thinking too. for me it was nice to 'get to know' the new band members in this way, it's something they probably do only once (well I hope so anyway)

    cant wait for Metallica later!

    Rock on!

Could they not have introduced themselves for €50 a ticket instead. This was one of the worst gigs i've ever seen. The crowd got really impatient with their self indulgent guitar **** and as far as continuity is concerned there wasn't any. People paid a lot of money to see that and there was no way it was worth half that. Metallica gave GnR a hiding this weekend. If only we could've seen Metallica twice. :P

Did anyone see Axl at the British Grand Prix on June 11th????

G'N'R, when they played, were fantastic - Axl's voice was on top form and the band played really well.......

But between all the messing around, leaving the stage, solo's etc. I was just getting extremely agitated, It's just plain time wasting, not sure if I'd go and see them again if thats what they consider to be a full headlining set.

Therapy? rocked on the second stage!

When Chinese Democracy comes out this Autumn(pretty likely, as long as he doesn't pack this tour in before that) their shows won't be like that anymore. IMO the goal of this tour is to gain some popularity by playing mainly the classics and introducing the new musicians as a part of GNR and not just a backup band to Axl.

Or I could be wrong and Axl needs his oxygen machine after every song.....

Sit down! Sit down! You're ruining it for everyone!

Jesus... what a bunch of ****ing squares you all are.

Do you not drink? Is a Guns n Roses gig on a boiling hot summers Friday evening not a great place to get drunk? Does it really offend you that other people get drunk for these occasions?

Please enlighten me as to how these people managed to "ruin the show you saw" ?

Its not so much that drunken idiots ruined the evening, so much that drunken idiots made a show of themselves, and you are embarrassed for them and yourself when (for example) a girl is wearing no underwear and has a huge hole in the middle of her crotch and is lyin down on the ground with her legs spread out and the skirt moving slowly up to her waist....

you mean to say this is the setlist BEFORE they had to finish quickly, when Axl came out at the end he was like...i havent much time so ill introduce the band...ive been told i have to do this quickly, something like that. They also left out IRS, and I heard they played Deep Purple in England
