Since the show only has one new episode (next week) before yet more prolonged breaks, we might be able to ease ourselves through the cold turkey with some of the Lost downloads out there which some of us might've missed:

Works like the real deal until it hits 4:00, then does the mad beeping thing. (This is the Widget version.) Then you enter the numbers and it resets. Don't know if it does hieroglyphics, but I saw a Mac one yesterday that seems to have added that in. Quite cool, if you need an alarm to remind you of something in 108 minutes!

What happens if you let it count all the way down to zero. Does it just reset anyway or do you get a message saying something like "Run for your life, brain sucking aliens are on their way!!!"

This is completely stupid but vaguely amusing. My withdrawal symptoms are so bad that anything will do at this stage.
