Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Im not sure if anyone can shed some light on this for me, but my mam suffers from Fibromyalgia.

    For those who don't know:confused:

Fibromyalgia is a type of rheumatism which affects the muscles and ligaments but not the joints. It will not cause deformity of the joints, but because there are no outward signs, other people will not be able to see the pain and tiredness that the person is suffering.

What i want to know is, are there any boardsters who either know someone suffering from this or are you a sufferer yourself??

Im finding it really difficult to understand this disease?? And i really want to help make life easier for my mam??

I know someone suffering from it. All I know is, she needs to do a lot of exercise or it's really bad.

Yeah my friend had that a while ago. I think she went on a special diet and slept alot and eventually got over it after about a year. She was really depressed by it especially cause she was only 20 and everyone around her had so much energy. I'm still not sure myself exactly what it is but just make sure your mum continues to eat healthy and exercise regularly and support her cause it can be frustrating having so little energy all the time. Hope everything works out.
