15"/17" lcd for bedroom wall

i was looking at some options for the girlfriends birthday next month and i was thinking of getting her a small lcd for our bedroom (so i can benifit from it too ha) dont want to spend more than 500 but options seems fairly tin all tv seem to be big now!!! was looking at Philips 17PF4310 which is about €519 any one have…

p.s. i'd like one with a built in dvd player would this be viable for 500euro?? i saw one on the aldi site off some unknown brand so not sure if i'll bother with built in dvd at all
