Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In the all programs folder of the start menu i have a folder called admin.

inside it i have another folder called Sophos Anit Virus.

sometimes when i open my start menu i will see a copy of the Sophos Anit Virus folder in the "all programs folder". i will also still be in the admin folder, so the folder is not being moved but seems to be copied.

i then delete this "copy", but after a while, prob a few boots, dunno really, it appears back in the "all programs folder"

anyone have any ideas on how to get it dissapear for good from the "all programs folder" ?

It's quite possible that the program itself is re-creating its start-menu shortcuts when it's run.
I notice windows does this constantly with the Startup folder, along with the My Pictures and My Music folders... very irritating.
No thanks Microsoft, I think I'll decide where I store my pictures and music  (I'm sure there's a registry hack for this, but haven't gotten around to looking for it)

Although it might just be hiding in your All Users startmenu... so have a look in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu and see whether deleting it there has any long term impact.

i just looked in all users and it isn't there.

it is prob the progam itself recreating the folder, as you said, as it happens on two different machines with this program

cheers for the info, will prob leave it as is. too lazy to go looking into reg hacks :)
