Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi,

I have a weird problem on a NT4 Server. There is a number of files that I cannot delete, move or do anything with. Access Denied. The backup software will not backup the files (access denied). I have tried taking ownership of the files, but I still get access denied even when doing that???? The files are not system files, their files from workstations on the network that have been saved onto the server

All the workstations are macs :(

    any help?

dunno if this will work in this situation but try this for deleting: (works on my winxp machine)

    open a dos command window.
    Ctrl+Alt+DEl and open task manager
select Processes tab and kill the explorer process
go back to dos window and from there delete the directories\files using the del command.
once all files have been deleted go back to Task Manager and select "File->New Task (Run)" and type "explorer" hit return. files should be gone now.

    Hope it helps!
