Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there anyway of making the "All programs" program display smaller or compact them. I don't use all the programs all the time but it's handy to get to them via Start.

As you can see the programs have gone of the screen now. So anyway of changing the display program format? :)

Delete the programs you felt the need to white out, you're obviously ashamed of how you acquired them.

You can order the start menu anyway you like. Go into C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu\Programs and organise them as you like. The Programs Menu is just a list of a set of folders and shortcuts. Perhaps group them into submenus based on the program catagory. One for "Games", one for "Applications", one for "Thar Be The Booty Maties!", etc.

You can change it so it scrolls up and down in the advanced area of the start menu properties!!

    Sorry if that doesn't help!

Right-click the Start button, click Properties, choose the Start Menu tab, click the Start Menu radio button, click Customise. Choose the Advanced tab, scroll Start Menu Items to Scroll Programs, check it. Then Ok your way out.

If you're going with mommy aidan_walsh's suggestion, bear in mind that some of them will be in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs.

I hid them for a reason, not because I'm ashamed of them. I use those programs more than any others. If I was to show them you would know what they where anyway.

You can delete them by right clicking on them techincally they are only shortcuts to the exes.
Just can forget that you have something installed if you remove them.

    Classic menu, small icons

Also you can change in display properties - appearance - advanced - by reducing font sizes first and then bar sizes, can't remember which shrinks the start menu lines off hand
