belkin wireless adsl router in my office downstairs.

1 computer beside it on an ethernet connection.
laptop also beside it on an ethernet connection ( but has wireless card )

computer upstairs on wired connection aswell.
but i got 2 other computer's in 2 other rooms upstairs that cant pick up a wireless signal for some reason.
they're not that far from the router at all, and the odd time they pick up a weak signal ( about 5 - 25% )

any way i can boost it?
or any ideas on what could be interfeering?

the walls are new ( house is about 4 - 5 years old )
no large metal slabs in the way ( such as support beams etc )
and no other wireless signal's about.

 im stumped on what else to do?!

could i route a cable upstairs to a booster box? a wifi point i mean?
    or how do they work?

Have the same ish problem with my router, seems the Belkin has a weak signal, ever try to get any documantation on them, nigh impossible. Their PCMCIA cards are a waste of time, have one myself and if you go outside the room then it can't pick up the AP. Know its the Belkin card coz my GFs centrino laptop can pick up the AP half way up the hill outside the house.... MMmm Seems to me I just answered my own question there and its time to go Linksys. ;)

i use linksys G pc card and it dandy. Tip: i use windows zero configuration utility to handle the wireless access requests. Linnksys software and zero config can conflict. I have found windows better able to config the wireless requests compared to linksys - but this may be due to variations and other factors.
