Usenet-style new interface

I don't think I'll be posting on Boards or reading the posts here any more after today's "upgrade" to a Usenet-style interface. I avoid any forum with this style, as I find it confusing and ugly.

That's all very interesting but funnily enough boards hasn't changed to a Usenet-style interface. You've probably clicked on display mode and changed it to linear or hybrid mode.
