    Hi folks,
I've got an old concrete driveway at my house which i want to widen. I also want to route some electrics across it and it is also has a split in it, where it has settled over time. So by the time I add about 4 feet to the side of it, it will look like (s h eye t) a pachwork quilt.
So I was thinking of using the existing driveway as hardcore for a new driveway and adding normal harcore to the side and putting new concrete over the lot giving a fresh new surface.
    1. Can this be done?
    2. Is it recommended?
    3. What is the minimum thickness I can get away with across the existing driveway surface?
    4. What is the price per cubic meter for concrete?

    Regads,

    Dairbhre
