question about 99 ls 400 satnav

    A friend of mine just got a lexus ls400 (1999) its a jap import and the satnav is in japenese. anyone know how to change this to english??
    ive done a bit of googling but cant seem to find anything.

    just got to your local lexus garage and find out, a guy i know got a celica from japan with sat nav and he said it cost around 700-800 euro to get it to irish spec, thats a rip off:rolleyes:

    Not being smart at all, but find a japanese person (or someone who speakes japanese) should be able to find it in the menu. If its a purely japanese one (do they come liek that) it might need a firmware update to be put into english.

    unless it's the one which takes a dvd it wont work in Ireland as
    there were no real maps for the toyota untill the last year or so for the
    newer models which are dvd based but the older ones are cds and there are
    no cds that work
