Well you can do Java coarses online with SUN directly. check out http://www.sun.com/training/

Could work out cheaper but they only train and test for their own software and hardware so you might be better going with one from your list for other training options.

I actually work for Sun so I know we have access to that stuff. I was told to look for classes specifcally. The Horizon bunch are Sun partners, but I was told to find a few options i.e. to find which we can get the best deal from.

    Thanks for the information btw.

What level of Java training and area are you looking for exactly? I have been reading through the DIT one ( http://www.emmetcaulfield.com/ecaulfield/ ) and that course appears to be good for teaching from the ground up.

IBM have some good stuff on J2EE/Web Services training (place near Baggot Street).

If you are training for the actual SCJP I went via Whizlabs which seemed to offer the best although most of the study was self study and you need a bit of knowledge of Java before going that route.

Also FAS have (or had) Java training online.

Last place to try as well is IEEE. If you are a member they have online training courses which are either free or reasonable price.
