    Hi,

    I am thinking of getting the Dell Inspiron 1300 for €489 (that's just with the 90 day warranty).

    Just needed for college and internet. Have ye any opinion on the processor :

    Intel® Celeron® M Processor 380 (1.60 GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 400 MHz FSB)

    In addition the €489 machine only comes with 256MB RAM. 2 more years left to do in college I want this laptop to see me through to the end of the course. For €699 you get 512MB RAM, 60GB Hard disk (40 on other machine) and 15.4 (14.1 on other..) inch screeen.

    The main conern is the RAM. Is 256 really sufficient in a laptop?
