Last Mile Broadband, Need a favour

    Hi, anyone out there use Last Mile Broadband in the midlands area,
    Can you access the bbc.co.uk web site, I find it strange but this is the only site i can`t log on to, so if anyone can try this for me and post a reply.

    Just did it, no problems. Using Lastmile in Longford. Try clearing your browser cache ??

    Check your .hosts file.

    Thanks Viking, Had a look at the hosts file, no mention of the bbc site or its ip address. Tried to logon on another computer with no joy.

    I suggest you forward both of these traceroute outputs to info@lastmile.ie and get them to look into it. Doesn't look like anything wrong at your end from the output of your traceroute.

    Got email from lastmile broadband, problem sorted, heres the reply,

    I have done some investigating and I have come to the conclusion that it
    > is a routing issue with the ip address you were being assigned. I have
    > escalated the problem with Packet Exchange and removed the address from
    > our allocation pool.
