    Hey all,

'Off Topic', a new college show on NEAR FM, need two panelists to represent DIT on an ongoing basis. Great experience for getting your foot in the radio door - I started there last year, and earned an ongoing job with a regional radio station as a direct result.

So what's it all about? NEAR FM are putting together a new intervarsity third-level show and, consequently, they want two panelists to, basically, fight DIT's corner when talking about random crap ("What does DIT like better – Crème Eggs Or Creme Egg Bars?" "Which college has the better social life - DIT or Trinity?" etc etc, nothing too taxing or serious!).

There'll be no travelling involved (unless you ever wanna check out the studios yourself), so everything will be done by phone. There might be future events where we'd be doing live broadcasts from a satellite van during Rag Week and fun stuff like that...but that's all further down the line.

Anyway, if you're interested in getting your name on radio or just having
a laugh for about ten minutes a week, then e-mail noel.rock2 at mail dot dcu dot ie and I'll forward more specific
    information.

    Regards,
    Noel Rock

P.S. The show starts on Wednesday, March 15th at 9pm on NEAR FM 101.6 for anyone who's curious.
