Help With vBulletin...? Beginners Guide needed!

    Howdy,

    I have use of vBulletin.

    I know nothing but I am a learner. For starters... can I, for testing purposes, run it on a PC? Or what do I need? If I do need stuff.. are there free versions? I hear rumour of some mysql or summit. I need to be learing it or at least understanding it.

    The end game is to have this functioning as an intranet/(or that other internal webserver based intranet...extranet?!?!?!?)

    I suppose ... how do I start... what do I need?
