Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is just a comment that I wanted to make due to irishcrazyhorse's comments in the "You have to pick one" thread. He said (in response to Andre or Big Show):
"Andre the Giant-is a legend but really had no idea what he was doing in the ring if you look back at him,he was "just" a giant..."
I have to say, in Andre's defence, this comment was clearly made by someone who only ever seen André in his final years. Don't forget that Andre was expected to have been dead by about 2 years before his Wrestlemania 3 match. When you see photos and videos of him when he was in his prime, he was amazing. He was fast around the ring, and even did moves from the top rope! He could drop-kick, and do some actual wrestling holds. The Big Show simply doesn't compare with Andre when their prime years are compared.

Big Show actually used to do dropkicks and moves off the top rope too. I would still go with Andre being the better of the two though, when his pre-WWF years are taken into account

Andre was great at grinding his opponents down. He'd let them run around him and wear themselves out, then move in.
