ALTO, Ireland's alternative telecom operators organisation, have published another concise report, prepared for them by Current Analysys, which highlights, rightly, again the failure with Ireland's Broadband development and which is in its main trust dealing with Local Loop Unbundling.

The heading of the ALTO report's Appendix:
"The Nonsensical Approach to Local Loop Unbundling by eircom"
does not make sense, of course: Eircom's approach to hinder functional LLU for as long as possible, makes a lot of sense for the butcher boys (and their ESOT/CWU friends) running Eircom.

    P.
P.S.: Siliconrepublic run an article on ALTO's report.
