Yes, you're right, your mistifying use of the word "pedant" both confused and scared me.

So what was it he had again? Any two cards in the deck? Bravo, excellent analysis.

Sent you a pm, calm down, if you have somthing to post, keep it on topic please. You appear to have been offended by my remarks! for which I apologise. as per the pm.

Now can we move on and get along? :)

QQ is possibly my most problematic hand both in tourney and cash play, it often leaves you in these awkward situations.

It's his flat call on the flop which stinks, I would have expected a raise from an over pair on the flop. It's a relatively clean flop so this could explain the flat call.

Checking the flop would have made this hand even more interesting!

I still believe you were bluffed off this pot.

I don't really expect him to have reraised from the SB with AT on the first hand. Maybe AQ.

So many people were suggesting to check and call all in with the QQ. It would be a very close second choice for me. So I bet with AA expecting to be called.

I understand that you give him a chance to hit top pair with AK and go broke that way. But on the other hand if he has QQ and an A or K falls you might lose him, or you might be giving him a free card with something like 99 where he would never call a bet on the turn (I know it's a slim chance, but it's half as likely as him rivering top pair with AK.)

These risks are small compared with the risk of not getting his 4k.

He is most likely drawing dead or drawing to 2 outs. If we can reduce the risk of him folding by checking, then we have done very well.

If QQ will get it in now, then QQ will get it in on the river.

Do we get to find out who it was anyway, or did you never find anything more about him than that someone said he had a WSOP bracelet?

    This is the "villian"
