    can anyone tell me how to use this? i set it up on my car radio but the sound if awful. i have tried tuning it into a frequency that isnt used with no backround noise to no avail. is it possible to use these in dublin?

    i have one of the older ones
    but did u check that the volumn on the ipod isnt too loud round 50-75%

    yeah, i tried this and just turned up the volume on the radio. it did improve it a bit but not much.

    iTrips can be hit and miss really.

    I got two and neither of them worked.

    Ended up getting this instead, which worked a treat - http://www.xtrememac.com/audio/wireless/airplay.php

    far better off with a tape-a-magig. or a direct line in the back

    Try putting your ipod right beside the radio when using it.

    If external signals are the problem, you can also try removing the car aerial (like when you use the car wash). Not ideal :)
