Personally I like the late bars, If I go out early in the week CP, Weekends tend to go to the Living Room or Sometimes Halo. Being hearing that Karma is getting good at the weekend. lots of European's(Hotties):D on the friday night.

From the two times I've been in there Halo actually seemed decent enough, as far as the decor and soft-lighting goes, if not the drinks, music and patrons...

No club in Galway is good enough to be considered a favourite.
    {edit} But I may be spotted careening around the gippo and cooba with clockwork-like regularity {/edit}
I quite liked the Forum in Waterford when I was down there.

Pubs are more to my liking, less oiks.

i prefer pubs but if i am going clubbing i like cuba

I like Front Door but can get too busy, so the Dew Drop is usually a good watering hole for a hassle free night out. sometimes Morgans. Bazaar has a nice feel to it too. Living room for a late bar

No Club Q on that list? How anyone could vote for CUBA is beyond me. All it's is is full of moshers and is about the size a match box on the downstairs dancefloor. Will never set foot inside the place again.

No club in galway is that great.

You would probably get more of a response if the vote was which was the worst.

You haven't included De Burgos - the only decent club in Galway.

Also the Living Room is a pub and not a club.

has anyone actually been to kaytoo, or has anyone seen anyone go there!

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,810 ✭✭✭DRakE

I work in CPs, so logically GPO is the best.

Halo, Cuba upstairs or the bar 903.
Haven't been to Karma for ages. Liked it last time I was there though.

I voted for the GPO. Mainly because I don't like the other clubs too much.

Club Q/Radisson - any time I've been there, all I've seen is fighting, so I avoid it like the plague.

    Karma - Erm. No.

Halo - Never been in there. Don't even know where it is.

CPs - I don't like CPs. Its too big. Too noisy. Too smelly. Give me a pub any day over CPs.

Cuba - I would go to Cuba, only not many of my friends do.

Kaytoo - need I say more?

    Have I forgotten anything.

Whats the story with De Burgos, is that the place that is/was the garda club? Went in there one evening years ago and was told it was closed and told to leave. Strange looking spot. Does it have a late bar?

That's the place and it does have a late bar. Saturday night in there is the best club night in Galway.

Twas the same in a lot of places then, you couldl smell BO and everything

CP got it sorted then. replaced the floors and installed a new Air Con System(very powerfull one).

the club is only ok on certain nights, avoid Thursdays.

It's not technically a club but they're always open late: The Roisin Dubh.

Was only in one club before in Galway and unfortunately it was CPs. A kip of the highest (lowest?) order. Going to the city tomorrow and Cuba looks promising!

If you think CP's is a kip, I can't wait for you to see cuba! Plus cuba is full of weirdos.
