Hi Laluna, if you go onto the galwayadvertiser website and look up the entertainment section, there are always good gigs on in the roisin dubh and cuba, theres always the old fashioned cinema, theatre or even going out for dinner. you could always go bowling (near tesco shopping centre).

    Multiple personalities, eh?

Er, I would advise you to go to the Eye Cinema rather than the Omniplex. Just for the fact that the Omni is going through alot of renovations and is basically a building site.

If the weather is nice - you can go for a walk by the River Corrib near Dangean - nice walk if you are sick of the prom

    Drink yourself into a coma?

It rates pretty highly in Galway.

good god ... people ... it seems there's only drinking and walking to be done in galway ...

Anyways ... next week ... will have paddy's on friday night ... there's a Fez Noz in the black box I do believe ... kinda like a Ceili ... doesn't involve drinking and last years was good craic ... should hopefully be some traditional breton stuff there as well ...

Paddy's eve I think will have a parade as well .. should be a few groups over from lorient again this year ... hmm...

you could also get involved in one of the project06 arts festival activities .. think there are auditions coming up ... for various plays and people will always be looking for help ...

ye could try yoga ... or something similar ... take an evening course in a language .. ? .. out in the RTC ...

Play pool / snooker ... good craic if you can get a crowd together ... Sally's / Mixers / Snooker place on eglington street ...

bowling ... I think monday nights is buy a pint get a game free ... they are a bit pricey in there though ... is it 3 EUR a game of pool these days ... EEK ...

Just a few ideas ... hopefully all not involving walking or alcohol :D

town hall theatre always has a few things going as well ...

Various groups / shows / alternative movies / musicians ...

The crane can be nice for a bit of trad music ...

Try Aras Na Ngael ... and get back to your irish roots ... or grow new ones :)

check the notice boards down the uni ... I'm sure there has to be something on there :)

Play computer games in one of the cyber cafe's around the place ..

    laser quest ...

    amusements place in salthill ....

Go for a swim ... leisureland ... wouldn't recommend it but still .. it exists ...

concerts .. check out roisin dubhs ...

take up cookery and cook each other meals .. ;) all things to do ...

the library has books or so I've been lead to believe ... not exactly a group activity .. still ... it exists ...

go for a ramble in the country ... the weather is getting slightly better ...

head out to the aran islands ... good craic .. get a bit of culture as well ... but semi pricey ...

    take a bus tour of connemara .. / .. burren ...

should be a few poker games going on ... around galway as well ... and a few cater to complete beginners ... or if not .. have a house party / same group of friends round ...

and if all that doesn't tickle your fancy ....
