Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A New Modern Horror, 'The Curse of SatNav' strikes a small rural village in England

    Story on the Reg

    Satnav Menaces Somerset Village

Basically the satnav 'suggests' an alternative route which is then followed by 10,000 vehicles a day. If I wanted to buy an overpriced house in a small village near Dublin (albeit in a few years time) I could maybe 'condition' the market by engaging well in advance with TomTom or Garmin to helpfully 'suggest' an alternative route to ...say ...the M1 :p

By the time they release the 2008 version the price of property should reflect what I am actually prepared to pay for it .
