Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

so its out in the US just recently. got a great review from ign. but i had the old one on the origional xbox. and i really dont think i'll bother myself.

is anyone here going to get it? and if so did you previously own the xbox version?

the only things thats different, is some high def upgrades, textures and stuff.. then 10 new crash junctions, and also a reworked live mode. apparently (ign source) they spent 60% of their time developing the new live capabilities...

from what i've read so far in reviews, you should definately get it if you havent played the older version. and its the fasted racer on the 360. but for me anyway i really dont think its worth it... i just want a dedicated next gen burnout game, no re-worked port...

Have it preordered from Play.com and as the 360 is my first MS console I ain't had it before, played it alright so that's part of the decision. The decider for me though was the live modes, I like the idea that the game is gonna try to build rivalries by highlighting the guys who stuffed you before etc.

Looking forward to it almost as much as Test Drive unlimited also pre-ordered that's the biggy for me this month :D

Oh yeah I like me driving games in case you hadn't worked that out :D

I had it on the PS2, got gold on everything and all, dont think I'll bother splashing out €70 for it considering there isn't that much new to it, I'd say it will still be good tho!

have it on ps2. no point in buying a slightly flashier version of the same game tbh

I loved Burnout 3, wasn't too crazy on the Revenge one but the 360 might sway me.

right, been playing this solidly for the last 2 weeks and perfected every single event, gaining me a gamerscoire of 695/1000 - most of the other ones are online achs.

Must say I earned every point, definitely a game that makes you work for your points.

Also, this looks COMPLETELY different on a HDTV than standard. When I bought the game first I put it back in its box as it looked like a PS2 game.

On my 32" Sony it just looks incredible.

All in all a decent game but I'm never playign it again.

Bit of an odd bump for an established poster:confused:

Funnily enough I was planning on getting stuck back into this soon, for some reason I never really gave it my full attention...

Don't see what the problem is with bumping.

It's better than starting a new thread.

i completely agree, i hate it when a mod needlessly closes a thread just because someone has bumped it from way back when.

funny, i was thinking about this game not long ago. havent really warmed to Burnout Paradise so if i see this cheap, i may well get it.

you really reckon it looks poor on an SDTV? i got a Panasonic 28" CRT which is rubbish but with RGB scart, most games look stunning enough.
