yeah its looks to definatly be the album title and cover

but i remember last time before lateralus, the title of the album was systema encephale, they had a cover and all ready, but they changed it not too far off the date of release

aswell as that, wrong track names were given like "riverchrist" and "pain canal" which never ended up on the album

i wouldnt be sure of anything untill i see and hear the album

    - judging from your mans review, it doesnt sound like that much of a progression, then again you have to hear a tool album more than once to get the jist of it.

Where in London are they playing and where did you get your ticket??
I know they're playing the donnington download fest and glascow, but no where else I thought...
I'd love to see them and as I'm sure you know there has been no Irish dates as of yet.

a good point. and also, the artwork is off the album mini, not the actual album itself, so t'all could be very different!

i heard the album will be bubble-ish. all sticking-out and what not (my command of the english language has suddenly gone to hell). i was taking a peek at the pics again and you can see where it would stick out, if what i've been told is actually true

    SINGLE

Here's some amazing ****: The new Tool single, "Vicarious" will officially be heard on radio on April 17th. That's all I've got... so to the Fox & Hounds I go.

    locking the door...

take from that what you will. i say that because of the date and lack of BMB signature

they have a habit of doing april first pranks though. like last years maynard finding jesus incident.

Has anyone heard the MP3 circulating that is supposedly a excerpt from Vicarious. I am aware of the decoy tracks circulating but as far as I've heard thay sound nothing like Tool while this sounds very much like it could be them. It sounds excellent if it is real.

i reckon those song titles are bull****
"rosetta stoned" + "the pot", a bit of a joke

aswell as that every tool album had a 1word title, opiate, anima, lateralus, undertow, salival, 10,000 days is breaking that traditional. Another thought is maybe its a reference to war. The Guitarist said that the lyrics deal alot with whats currently going on in the world rather than introspective stuff i.e. war, terrorism etc. Maybe 10,000 days is some strange reference to Vietnam, which has been called the 10,000 day war by historians

probably over analyzing but worth a mention.............:)

a mate of mine downloaded it off limewire, said it was false, lots of bull**** radiohead tracks floatin around aswell..........

The PJ album has already leaked.

Any leaks of the new tool, are either Isis, Miocene,Adam Jones music from Doom 3 or bad recordings done by wags put up to annoy the fans searching for leaks, or the best yet 11 tracks of silence, you'll get a leak about a week before the release date, or a leak of the single next week.

I really dont care about artwork, or names. I just want it to be as good as lateralus, at least. If its a return to a more undertow sounding tool, I'll be disappointed. I'm not a big fan of the production on that album.

Adam Jones music from Doom 3

I didn't know he did music for that game. Any good?

I liked the murkiness of that album, fitted well with all the flooding/drowning imagery on the album.

Sorry, my mistake, it wasnt Adam. I think Danny Lohner had something to do with it though.
