    Toshiba’s HD-DVD notebook exposed
Qosmio G30 will be the first laptop to sport an integrated HD-DVD ROM drive.

Toshiba’s forthcoming Qosmio G30 laptop is Mr Entertainment – it packs Windows Media Centre, a TV tuner, digital video recorder, HDMI digital output and 1080p compatible screen into its sleek casing. There’s also a GeForce 7600 graphics card and an astounding 240GB of hard disk space.

But that’s not all. This is also the first notebook to feature an integrated HD-DVD ROM drive. While this has its work purposes (you can cram 30GB worth of spreadsheets on to a single disc!), it will really come to the fore when the media companies start the HD-DVD rollout. We’re talking crystal clear Hi-Def movies and TV shows – and the best part is that you can use the HDMI connection to output them to your HDTV:eek: :)

The Qosmio G30 is heading to a shop near you in April, and the word on the street is that it’ll set you back around £2,200.:(
