    Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody:
"I don't wanna die. I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all.."

    One of my faves too.
I also love Shakira's Poem To A Horse
    First Verse(s)
You're too far to bring you close
And too high to see below
Just hangin' on your daily dose

I know you never needed anyone
But the rolling papers for your grass
How can you give what you don't have
    Chorus

I'll leave again 'cause I've been waiting in vain
But you're so in love with yourself
If I say my heart is sore
    Sounds like a cheap metaphor
So I won't repeat it no more

I love most of her lyrics, When i used to write my style was pretty similar to hers..

And i also love these lyrics off Jeff Buckleys Hallelujah. Its not really the kinda song id normally listen too but i love his voice in this one and the lyrics are so poestic, ill post whole song as i cant choose a fave part::::

Well I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and he pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
Well, it goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall and the major lift
    The baffled king composing hallelujah
    Hallelujah, hallelujah
    Hallelujah, hallelujah

Well your faith was strong, but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you
And she tied you to her kitchen chair
And she broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips you drew the hallelujah
    Hallelujah, hallelujah
    Hallelujah, hallelujah

Well baby I've been here before
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor, you know,
I used to live alone before I knew you
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
And love is not a victory march
    It's a cold, it's a broken hallelujah
    Hallelujah, hallelujah
    Hallelujah, hallelujah

Well there was a time when you let me know
    What's really going on below
But now you never show that to me, do you?
I remember when I moved in you
And the Holy Dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was hallelujah
    Hallelujah, hallelujah
    Hallelujah, hallelujah

Maybe there is a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you
And it's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
    It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

    Hallelujah, hallelujah
    Hallelujah, hallelujah,
    Hallelujah, hallelujah

    Dream Theater:
    Through Her Eyes:

I'm learning all about my life...by looking through her eyes.

    Wait For Sleep:
She shuts the doors and lights and lays her body on the bed, her images and words are running deep, she has too much pride to pull the sheets above her head, so quietly she lays and waits for sleep...

    Elton John

    Rocket Man:

She packed my bags last nite, Pre flight! :P

Thats all for now, my favorie is wait for sleep.

From the same artist, and for anyone who knows how protective a parent can be:

No shadow, no darkness, no tolling bell shall pierce your dreams this night......

There's a loss that can never be replaced, a destination that never be reached,
A light that you'll never findin another's face,
    A sea who's distance can't be breached.

Madman drummers bummers and Indians in the summer with a teenage diplomat
In the dumps with the mumps as the adolescent pumps his way into his hat
With a boulder on my shoulder feelin' kinda older I tripped the merry-go-round
With this very unpleasing sneezing and wheezing the calliope crashed to the ground
Some all-hot half-shot was headin' for the hot spot snappin' his fingers clappin' his hands
And some fleshpot mascot was tied into a lover's knot with a whatnot in her hand
And now young Scott with a slingshot finally found a tender spot and throws his lover in the sand
And some bloodshot forget-me-not whispers daddy's within earshot save the buckshot turn up the band

    a classic :)

"The Devil is a loser and he's my bitch
For better and for worse and you dont care which!...
    ...You got yourself some greasepaint
Oh set of white and black
Wow! All you got was laughter and Geme Simmons on your back"

Dream Theater-Only A Matter Of Time:
"Likely or not, it's a dream that we keep
and at odds with our senses we'll climb
But if faith is the answer, we've already
    reached it
    And if spirit's a sign
then it's only a matter of time"

    or

    Dream Theater-Learning To Live:
"Another chance to lift my life
Free the sensation in my heart
To ride the wings of dreams
    into changing horizons"

    or even

    Dream Theater-A Change Of Seasons:
    "Tripping through
    The life fantastic "

    and why not

    Sonata Arctica-White Pearl, Black Oceans:
"All I could see, her eyes,
We got caught in the moment, all of the night"

A few more that hit me,

    Oasis-Some Might Say
"Some might say they don't believe in heaven
Go and tell it to the man who lives in hell"

    2Pac-Changes
"And still I see no changes can't a brother get a little peace
It's war on the streets & the war in the Middle East
Instead of war on poverty they got a war on drugs so the police can bother me
    And I ain't never did a crime I ain't have to do "

    The Fugees-The Beast
    "Conflicts with night sticks
    Illegal sales districts,
    Hand-picked lunatics, keep poli-TRICK-cians rich
Heretics push narcotics amidst its risks and frisks,
Cool cliques throw bricks but seldom hit targets "

    The Verve-Bittersweet Symphony
"Cos' it's a bittersweet symphony this life...
Trying to make ends meet , you're a slave to the money then you die."

    Coolio-Gangsta's Paradise
"I'm twenty-three now but will I live to see twenty-four
The way things is going I don't know.
2-Tell me why are we so blind to see
That the ones we hurt are you and me?"

In all fairness, that list sucks ass. Most of it is just random lyrics plucked from bad chart songs.

That's utter bull****. I know people who talk like that all the time, but you don't see them up for awards.
