2003 CLK200 Kompressor, over the last 2 1/2 years it has averaged 34.5MPG, mainly around secondary roads, then the odd mix of traffic & motorways so I'd say thats a pretty good indication of its MPG !

Happy enough, though my last car a 2001 C200K was a 6speed manual and it was a bit better at about 38.5MPG over the 2 years I owned it !

I do a lot of long journeys and average 43-44 mpg. Renault Laguna II 1.6 petrol. Obviously economy varies according to driving conditions and speed
    Average 43-44 mpg
    National routes 43-44 mpg
    Regional roads 49-50 mpg
    Motorways: 36-37 mpg
    Around town : no idea

250 miles for E60, Mercedes C280, mixed driving, but driven quite hard. I actually don't think that's too bad.

I get about 30mpg or 10 km/litre in a Honda Civic SiR, mixed driving.

Was in a Mini Cooper S Worx last week that was getting less than 18mpg on a motorway - and thats from the onboard computer!

10MPG in a tiny skinny lightweight small engined car?

You probably only use your right foot to put the pedal right down to the metal and keep it there at all times :)

And you is a girl? :D

Yes I am a girl ;) and I've been told I have a heavy foot alright! But honestly the car eats petrol, my brothers scoobys use less than my car!

Depends. If it's the car, around 12-14 mpg I guess, and if it's the bike, I suppose 17? I'm one of those people who couldn't give a damn about mpg's, I enjoy driving.....

You sound like a sad spoofer tbh.

    Not your ornery onager

Not really but hey we'll have to agree to disagree, maybe my perception of what is 'tiny' is vastly different to yours... :p

Damn, don't confuse me, CC :D

You were fine with my description of skinny lightweight small but you objected to me using the word tiny. OK so, you're a 6 feet tall model, skinny and lightweight. I hope you aren't!

    You're obviously easily confused

    '96 GT-Four (2.0 Turbo)

Have to guess at it :

Cruising at 100mph though Germany, Belgium and France I got six and a half hours out of a tank of petrol - approx 46mpg.

Tearing around the Nordschleife I got two laps out of about a fifth of a tank - approx 9.8mpg.

Day to day driving I average about 20mpg.

See how much greener I could be if the speed limits weren't so low? :D

    1990 Nissan Micra 1.0L

Mixed (both country and city driving); 35-40mpg (and that's easy driving!)

It's not great considering it could get around 55mpg new. Worn carb and piston rings is to fault I reckon.
