Well it's that time of the year when the insurance company come looking for money again. This time though I've had a crash and lost my NCB- always get protection- Now I'm getting screwed for €1640. Does anyone know of any company's that will give a decent quote for someone who's made a claim?

Ring all of them, its not like there's lots to choose from. I always do this every year, whether i've had a claim or not, as you're bound to save some money by shopping around.

Its gas. People complain about being ripped off yet still need to be told to shop around.

I think insure.ie are good. I got my renewal last week. I then checked tesco. Tesco worked out about €60 cheaper. I phoned insure.ie and they dropped the price by €80! Just like that.

usually get a good quote and you can get a quote on-line as well. Just make sure you accept the quote at the end other-wise it will go up by €200 if you don't
