Compaq Evo N600c

I have a Compaq Evo N600c but the screen does not work properly. It is very dark though the picture is just visible. I had hoped to give this laptop to my daughter as she is in college and needs a computer. I wonder has anyone got a screen that would suit.I am willing to pay a reasonable price. Moorest
