Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I had it done about ten years ago when in secondry school. Not sure of the costs. Only takes about 15min.

depends, what are you allergic too?
SOrry, I just had to say it.
it depends where you go, a GP will charge normal fee, some homeopoathic approaches wil be cheaper of course.

Don't even bother your arse getting one done that's not by a qualified doctor. You'd pay about €30 to be told you're allergic to wheat and dairy. You can get a blood test done by your GP, but I don't think that includes foodstuffs. It'll tell you what makes you sneeze though!

Go to your gp and get them to make an appoint for you, it will be done in hospital and either be a bloodtest for foor allegries or a skin prick test for factors like house dust, cat and dog hair ect.

There is some good info on allergies on the BBC website, this page specifically tells you about types of tests.

Obviously most of the links will be for UK organisations but for general info it's a good start.

My dad is a homeopathic doctor who does this test. He uses the skin prick test. It is shorter and just as effective as a blood test. Ill ask him about the price

I got the skin prick test done in the charlemont clinic beside the barge pub a few years back. It was about €130 and took about half an hour.
You have to keep the patches on for about 4 days.

You don't feel anything. Its just uncomfortable for a few days cos the tape they use is sticky and it goes on your back.

Good tip...shave your back before you get it done or else you'll be getting it ripped off when they pull the tape off.
