I can't offer any direct help on this, however have you tried asking in your local hunting/fishing shops and perhaps other local shooters?

Ok I'm pointing out the obvious but I hope it helps! :o

Get in contact with the I.C.P.S.A. (governing body of clay shooting in Ireland) and they should be able to provide you with a list of grounds or clubs in the Connaught region. www.icpsa.ie

There are three ICPSA clay shooting clubs in County Galway. You could e-mail icpsa@eircom.net for details or check out the ICPSA web site.

Check the ICPSA site here - http://www.icpsa.ie/contactus/545.html

It's the list of registered grounds.

Also look at the list of coaches - Pat Donaghy in Esker (just about in Galway) has a fantastic grounds - host to the DTL World Championships in 2 weeks time - http://www.icpsa.ie/coaching/coach_find/553.html
