I hurt my back rather badly on Monday and am in considerble pain. My poor husband has to do everything for me and our three children. If you have time, please pray that I will be healed.

I'm posting to ask whoever is reading this to please pray that I with God's help I will get healed from a lingering illness. I've been unwell for 6 years and it's taking over my life. I spend almost everyday feeling 'hungover' with aching muscles, sore throat, headaches. I have constant brainfog which means I can't think straight, get confused very easily and am forgetful. I very rarely get a day where I feel very good.

I've spent a fortune over the years trying to find out what exactly is wrong- Doctors don't have a clue and have basically given up on me. I've done alot of research myself and am now self medicating, as have no choice, and I'm sending tests away to the UK.

I would really really appreciate prayer for this as my life is so so miserable and I'm growing weary from it. I don't even mind having this illness if it was a recognised illness but as doctors can't find anything wrong I'm expected to function, which I do to the best of my ability, but it is extremely difficult. My life is totally dominated by this; as I never know how I'm feeling I can't plan ahead. I was also let go from my job in January and because I feel so awful, the thoughts of going into a new workplace is terrifying as I'm prone to making mistakes!

Went on a bit there-sorry! So basically I need wisdom and guidance that the tests I'm sending off will shed some light on all of this. Or that some Doctor will listen to what I've learned and work with me.

Can you please pray for God's will in the life of myself and my wife.

She has been offered a very good job nursing in a top London hosptal which would mean us moving over there for 2 years minimum. As some of you might be aware, she is just short of 3 months pregnant.

We are absolutely clueless about whether to accept this and move to a foreign country away from family at a very important time. My wife is very close to her mum and this is a huge factor. On the other hand, its a huge opportunity work-wise.

Would really appreciate prayer!

My mum is quite old, she has parkinsons and a whole lot of other old age problems.....she fell and broke her pelvis and is in awful pain. Admitted to the hospital today that my Dad passed away in only 10 months ago...She's very frightened and very sore....

Please remember her in your prayers...

As I was heading to collect my nephew from school today, I was stopped by a man in black who was propped up against railings. Initially, as he called out to me, I walked ion because I was running late. However, I eventually did turn back and we got chatting.

My heart breaks for this guy, Rory. From the brief conversation we shared he came across as an articulate and intelligent man, but unfortunately he has been in and out of alcohol rehab clinics for most of his adult life.

He had nothing other than the despair and the physical discomfort from yet another failed attempt at going cold turkey. What little I could do for him wasn't enough. I was lost at sea.

One thing he did ask of me was to pray for him. God was with him, he said, and I gathered that this was one of the few things that kept him going. I prayed for him, but much to my shame I didn't think to do it there and then on the street. I'm so annoyed because I'm only now thinking of the stuff I should have said.

Can people please pray for Rory?

I am of a somewhat questioning faith at the moment, so I may not be in the right to ask this but if I could, could I request your support if possible? Although perhaps trivial to many, this thread has been getting a bit barren and God has been doing a lot of things in a lot of peoples lives no doubt.
I'd like to thank God for helping me to get through the second year of university exams, yet to see the results, but I am just glad to have it over with and to have a bit of freedom for the summer!

I lost my Dad(Bernard) last week and may he R.I.P. He was a kind, honorable, dignified man who did much work for charity throughout his life. In the process, I think my Faith is returning and to honor his memory I will ensure that it never leaves me again. A prayer for his eternal happiness would be greatly appreciated.

as you all know thousands of secondary level students will be beginning their Leaving Certificate examinations and I would like to ask you all to pray for myself and those like me who will be sitting these important exams. And although I feel a bit selfish when I view some of the other prayer requests(they are only exams after all) I would feel heartened if I knew someone had said a prayer for me.

Many ways to pray with youtube it is great to have access to some very spiritual material.If you need to relax and pray Gregorian chant is something maybe to try and very powerful way to let God into your heart and bring peace and relaxation to all doing exams over coming weeks.Best of luck and I will say prayer for you Mr. Mussolini and all doing exams it all goes well .The very best of luck and blessings and luck to you and all in the country doing exams.

I know that it is a bit late but I just wanted to thank God for my son who is 12 weeks old tomorrow, he was very wanted and is very much loved. I also want to thank God that my ct about a month ago was OK, have a year of freedom from scans.

Myself and the wife are just back from CEF teen camp and praise the Lord 4 teens (that we know of) put their trust in the Lord. It was a tough week but seeing God at work has really beena amazing.

So, he's feeling a lot better, other than the thought that the cancer is still there. I told him prayer works, and he said, "maybe it does." Not the reply I was hoping for, but it's a start.

Can I please ask for prayer for a good friend of mine, Ronan. He has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma recently. Treatment is going well but he is extrememly weak. Please pray for God's healing hand in his life.

My mother in law has been diagnosed with cancer (suspected origin lung), we find out the full details tomorrow - please pray that it was caught early and that she can beat it.

Just an update on my mate Ronan. Treatment had been going well, unfortunately last Friday morning his dad found him unconscious in his room. He had suffered 2 blood clots in his brain. He was rushed from his home in Kilkenny to Cork Universtiy Hospital and operated on. He is recovering well from the neurosurgery but has developed pneumonia in one lung. Please continue to pray for him and his family. His mum in particular is finding it very tough.

There is a good website which I found very helpful in reciting Rosary .It has and always will be a very great way to pray for sick or any intention you wish for Our Lady to intercede before God for .Believe in miracles they are still happening open your heart when saying the Rosary and you will find small miracle and maybe even a very big one too.Here's the site :

Ronan is now is James hospital where he'll be resuming the treatment for his cancer. Obviously this is going to take its toll with the damage to his brain from the clots. He is responding well and has been smiling at his family and moving his right arm. He'll be gettting physio and other treatment for at least 18-24 months so please keep him in prayer. Seeing him improve ever so slightly is bringing great joy to his parents. Praise God.

Please pray for the family of the 12 years old girl who was found dead today near the Royal Canal. She was in my daughter's class at school and my daughter is devastated. The young girls family must be so dreadfully upset.

Friends of mine lost a baby a few months ago due to a combined genetic problem and were told there is a high chance this could happen again. They were absolutely brimming with happiness after being told yesterday that the baby she is now carrying is perfect with no genetic defects. Thank you thank you God for this wonderful little miracle...
