seek professional help is the new retort and insults around Boards. Why does this stuff keep coming up...or is it just limited to me personally?

Why do certain people read more into things then is nesscary?, so i guess if i collected stamps that would be ok, PC's and consumer electronics is just as much a hobby as building model planes...just a bit more expensive.

Last year was working as a camera opp at the Galway races.. 4 of the lads went out one night n spend €1800 between them in a strip club... Thats near enough their weeks wages!! All for a stiffy.. Hell u can get em for free if u think about it

Ah, yes, that was me. It was meant in a spirit of fun. To be honest I was more commenting on the broadcasting to the internet that you spend large amounts of money on things with a stellar deprecation rate than the actual spending

My post about the Plextor firmware was to inform folks who have said drive, like me, that a new firmware is available...providing a service.

And depreciation is part and parcel of PC hardware, take the good with the bad and try get the best resale price possible.

I have to agree, I haven't met one Polish lady that hasn't been anything but lovely and upstanding. On a sidenote from all the optical drive talk, Richard please mind what you say. My girlfriend is Polish and I was offended by your remark.

Oh I don't want to make an issue of your joke. But seeing as how you responded to my having taken offence in the first place, it's reasonable to question whether you had actually meant it as such.

I think though we should best leave our bickering to somewhere other than this thread. I have a new understanding of you, and perhaps you of me. This most certainly isn't the place to debate such things.
