Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

I'm using Netstumbler to pin-point where is the best place to put my computer to get the best out of my wireless router.

Is there any software to locate a computer connected to a wireless router/network in a similar fashion?
(i.e. - the stronger the signal the closer the computer/ graphical mapper/ - or something similar)

    Thanks

I'm not sure about a piece of software, but as far as I know, to pinpoint any radio signal you need to triangulate it.

You can hook up a GPS reciever to your computer to plot where you picked up an access point (e.g. for war driving) with netstumbler.
