If the obvious answer of 22 is wrong then maybe "add the numbers" means add 1, 2, 3, 4, 12, 0, 101 and 99 which would give 222.

Or something else along those lines?

Maybe you forgot the answers, too.

I.e. the sum of the numbers above is 222 and the answers sum to 22, so the final answer is 244.

    Maybe...

    Could it be 33???

Add all the individual digits to get 33 - I've left out the first line cos its words, not numbers.

I presume that TWENTY-FIVE is 25 and not 20-5? If its 20-5 you get an answer of 31.

Ok, someone solved it and the answer is 4616?

If somebody could work this one out, you're a genius!

Are all the letters of the 1st line roman numerals?

    How about
    20-(5/5)=19
    1+2+(3*4)=17
    12*0=0
    101-99=2

    TWENTY-FIVE DIVIDED BY FIVE =
    1+2+3X4=
    12X0=
    101-99=

    25 % 5 = 5 ... which is four numbers 5, 2,5,5
    4
    1+2+ (3x4) = 15 ... which is six numbers 1,5, 1,2,3,4,
    6
    12 x 0 = 0 ...... which is one number 0. since 12x0=0 we donot count the 1 and 2 in 12.
    101-99 = 2 ......... which is 2, 1,0,1,9,9
    6

    4616.

Very creative. But if you're going to count the 0 once, you must count it the second time, plus the 12, which makes four numbers. But 0 is a number, so it's all very unsatisfying and illogical.
