ordered oil today

    ordered heating oil today, for a place that i have just moved into, i wasn't home and the guy rang me asking if i wanted both tanks filled, i said sure

    got home for work to find the bill for over €1500!!!!! waiting for me,

    should they warn if the bill is going to be over a certain ammount?

    Hate to say this but he did ask and you agreed and if ever in doubt ask the big question first instead of later - HOW MUCH?

    Dude, don't ask for him to fill tanks. Ask for an amount of oil in money. :(
    That is a tough break. Your tanks must be huge!

    Im going to guess here and say that they must be either a 1000l and a 1500l or else 2 x 1200l

    it was 2450l of oil


    oh got an esb bill today for over €600, seems the last year has all been estimates

    that IS the price of oil nowadays but why do you have 2 tanks ???

    But what happens is oil costs go down...:) I no its very unlikely but with this chaps luck you never know.

    I have never used oil and was wondering how long it would take to use 2450l...?

    My crap boiler used 500L in 35 days.
