Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have different favourite songs the whole time, but defiantely PDA, Obstacle 1 and 2, Public Pervert, NYC and Narc are always up there. There's not really a song on either Turn On The Bright Lights or Antics that I dislike, except maybe the chorus of Not Even Jail, you can see whats gonna happen music-wise, but still a great song. Have you heard Precipitate? It's off one of the Interpol EPs, I think it's the one with pink writing on grey background? It's nice, hasn't got the best production and I think it was before Sam joined, but it has grown on me alot!

Evil is my favourite. Yes Editors to share similarities to Interpol but both bands owe a lot to the far superior Joy Division, no bad thing that though

i love hands away, track 6 off Bright lights. It's just so simple and beautiful.

Yeah they are very similar to Joy division, but again, that is no bad thing.

Ian Curtis's vocals are being emulated in a big way but it does work so well.

"like Joy Division" is becoming a full sub-genre in itself these days.

Interpol are the best band that sound like Joy Division though. Because their drumming is different and good, and their twin guitar thing just works better than Editors'.

Saw them in the village great gig- they blew franz ferdinand away that night. Love their 1st album- Not mad on the second one though its almost like they were really trying to go commercial in there own way---one song on that album sounds like "show me heaven" BY maria mckee (???). But carlos.d is the f***ing dude on the bass....pity there are no bass players around dublin that look or play like him...

Interpol knock the **** out of editors who i think are fake ass and samey samey.....

It was good to see Franz that night, well before they became famous. The thing about that gig, it seemed that they were tired playing those songs, as they had been touring for about 18 months.

Good gig nonetheless for a crap venue.
