    When is this service going to be launched? What channels will be on it (besides the BBCs and ITVs)? Will it be restricted to UK-Only?

    Early 2007, ITV ballsed it up. I assume it'll be UK only, the government wouldn't like it if the BBC used license money for non uk people, although with ITV on board who knows.

    It'll definitely be aimed at the UK only, but as long as the channels remain free to air on satellite, they can be watched over here in Ireland, like they can now.
