The best kebab in Dublin

Alanya's sold the best kebab in Dublin. They claimed their schwarmas were the best in the world. But now it looks like it has closed! What's going on?

No no no. They come a close second! Their bread isn't quite thick enough. Alanya's sauces are (were?) superior too.

Well my brothers and cousins and stuff all go on about Iskanders on Dame Street, but I got a kebab there the other night and thought it was a bit dry

Dunno, a kebab's not really a kebab unless it's got sauce spilling out the end onto your shoes.......!

Actually I think I've been in Alanya's. Wasn't impressed. Bread was too thick.

Anyway i'd have to with the popular consensus on this Alanyas or Zaytoon both do a legend kebab.

there is a kebab shop in ranelagh down from tramco that does a savage chicken shish. iskanders is only nice when ur locked i had one the other day and it was horrible but i was sober so it doesnt count.

Zaytoon is on parliament st on the end of temple bar. Its legend. Athenas on Dame St. opposite Ricks.

i would agree with that list.

i however have never been in Alanya's. But as far a the bread goes i think Zaytoon's is plenty thick.

But the Turkish place in the Epicurean Food Hall on Jervis St is a also pretty good.
