Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Tonights Prem results

    Dublin City 1 Derry 0 (Higgins 0g 64)
    Waterford 1 Bray 1 (Kavanagh 93) (Zayed pen 61) Hayes s/o for Waterford 60

Just back in from the RSC, freezing cold night. Waterford were slightly the better team overall, but lacked a threat up front. Could be a long long season for us though...

    First Div Results
    Athlone 0 Shamrock Rovers 2
    Galway 2 Limerick 0

Very good win from a Dublin City perspective, Bray will be no doubt disappointed to have conceded such a late goal. Fair play to Waterford though, the same battling spirit they showed at the end of last season.

    Goal #2 for Zayed.

In fairness a win for Bray wouldnt have been justice. Draw probably the fair result. We did battle hard with the 10 men, honestly didnt notice the man difference, with a beaut of a goal from Kavanagh to grab the point.

Scoring goals is gonna be a BIG problem for us this season.

Stephen Grant was a class act tonight.

Same craic as last week for Bray so, althought they were lucky to even get a draw against us last week.

Somehow managed to get roped into working tomorrow (could have been the double pay, I dunno!) so I'll be missing the Shels-Longford game.

For anyone interested, Shels have launched a new online commentary, which starts at around 7.35, available at:

Bray surrendered another lead tonight which im disappointed about especially with it being so late. Havent heard reports of the match yet but to concede a goal that late is a killer blow. Still an unbeaten start is nice.

Looking forward to tomorrow, I hope to see the Shelbourne out there that we all know other teams fear - which can't happen with the current mentalities!

Good result for Dublin City, but ti's too early to start writing Derry off.

Not sure of the details, but Drogs are down to 10 men after 15 minutes in their game at home to Cork City. I'd imagine Mr Doolin is quite furious!

Bray are the only Prem team to have scored in both their first two games! (Sligo can match it though)

Telling ya, forget about locking prisoners in Mountjoy, take them half a mile up the road, lock them in Dalymount and make them watch Bohs - reoffending would be zero........although come to think about it you'd probably be done for undue suffering or something

Sligo and Bohs both looked like teams that will be fighting relegation this season; well, that is if the FAI actually tell us if anyone is getting relegated or not. Thing is with Bohs though, we can get better; I'm not sure Sligo can. :o

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,953 ✭✭✭blu_sonic

i would have thought it would have been waterford and CHF fighting for the bottom spot
