Did you not read the second line?
"I was terrified of the guy i was going to have but he really was nice"

I mean, seriously. At least chuckle quietly, for the love of God!

A friend of mine is really good at Irish. When I had my leaving cert oral i said to him 'so how much would i have to pay you to get into my skirt and do my oral?'

I meant absolutely nothing by it, and didn't even realise what I'd said unti he brought it up a few months ago.

    I am so naive.

My two extremely difficult and anti-social housemates are finally moving out, leaving the gaff to the two normal people and I. Bonus: I may get to move into one of the vacated rooms which is bigger than mine ;)

But we do now have the hassle of getting new people, plus I'd take these two idiots for another six months if it was the trade off for watching the Munster match

C'mon spill the beans how bad are they?

Oh I could go on for hours!! Well, Aoife had a habit of inviting half her college class back to our gaff after a night out to continue drinking, so we'd be woken up at 3/4am by people running through the house screaming, so not fun  Plus they didn't clean anything ever, they didn't wash up and when they did, they only washed a fraction of the stuff they'd used and nothing was really clean. Cigarette ash would be left on the table. Food left lying around to attract and ants and other nasty things.

One of the worst ever was one night when the girl I get on best with and I were woken up at 3/4am by somebody banging on the front door. There's only girls in the house, and we live on a main road, so we went downstairs and tried to talk through th door. Turned out that Aoife had brought some randomer home, he'd gone nextdoor to tesco for cigarettes, Aoife decided she was tired and went to bed forgetting about him. Bt his jacket was in our living room, and he didn't even know Aoife's name or number  It was so dodgy. Thank Christ she's moving out!

Anybody interested in moving into a new gaff in Ballsbridge? PM me if you are ;)

You should get some people who need to be close for the exams to move in for a few weeks until you can get two permanently, that way there wont be a chance of you guys who are left having to cover the rent, assuming you would have to.

Hope whoever the new people are are better! I thought my lot were bad.

They're moving out at the end of May, so we have over a month. Plus the house is huge and in a brilliant location, so it shouldn't be too hard. We hope!

Simon is home! (Housemate). I got the train this morning and the 46E was waiting for me outside the station. As they don't sell bus tickets in Heuston I paid to UCD. Then I got a lift home from college, so I didn't have to validate my bus ticket! Extra day on the bus for nothing! (Cherish the small things, ok?) And the cheques for the printers will clear!

Just watched Finland's Eurovision song on YouTube (Lordi - Hard Rock Hallelujah), absolutely hilarious to think there's gonna be metalheads at Eurovision! That's certainly put a smile on my face this morning :)

You should see the UK one. What's worse than a white guy rapping? A 40 yr old white rapper trying to look 18. so sad....

  • Registered Users Posts: 26,928 ✭✭✭✭rainbow kirby

I'd love to see him get impaled on the Lordi guy's spikes...

Exactly, I take it some media types thought it'd make him look hip or whatever, down with the kids but really he just reminded me of that dude who hangs around the arcades at the age of 30 dressed like a rapper.

It is a hilrious piece of work though, all those middle class white boys breaking and so on with the toekn black guy just to make it not look entirely silly.

    He's big in Poland apparantly....

oh jeee.....I so know how you feel!
I have three flat mates who are exactly like that and tyrannise the rest!! Actually, one of their friends recently peed at a wall in the house.

something annoying on the funnier side is that they started this month leaving porn mags lying around in the tv room - opened. Great, when you're having friends over for tea
